Nature of the Service

Kittson County Busted Mugshots is an independent reference site. It stores no official Sheriff, jail, court, or corrections records. It cannot confirm a person’s custody status, release a person, file documents, post bond, or make an official request on anyone’s behalf.

The site may direct visitors to official sources, including the Kittson County Sheriff’s Office, MCRO, and the Minnesota DOC public viewer, as well as outside research tools. Those sources are separate services with their own terms and records practices.

Permitted Use

Visitors must use the site lawfully and responsibly. In particular, a visitor must not:

• Use the site in violation of a law, court order, or another person’s rights.
• Use information to stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
• Use any material for employment, housing, lending, insurance, or tenant-screening decisions.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its systems, or another user’s information.
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means without written permission.
• Interfere with the site’s security, performance, or availability for other visitors.

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

Kittson County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, or FCRA. It does not provide consumer reports, background checks, credit reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. By using this site, a visitor agrees not to use information obtained here for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• A decision to hire, fire, promote, or retain someone.
• Tenant selection, housing eligibility, or lease decisions.
• Creditworthiness decisions or insurance-premium decisions.
• Eligibility for a license, permit, government program, or similar benefit.
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kittson County Busted Mugshots and its owners, contributors, and providers from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from the visitor’s use of the site or violation of these terms.

Site Intellectual Property

The site’s text, graphics, logos, design, and code belong to Kittson County Busted Mugshots or its content partners, unless another owner is identified. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without prior written permission, except where the law allows.

If a court finds part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The invalid portion will be interpreted or limited only as much as needed to make the rest enforceable where possible.
